In March I sent this blog The Dillinghams of Fountain Place to the present president of Ithaca College, Tom Rochon.
His enthusiasm for it, and my discovery that Fountain Place did not have a single D. Hoyt painting on its walls, prompted me to donate Bird with a Broken Wing to President and Mrs. Rochon specifically for display at Fountain Place. (see exchange of emails and letter below)
Mr. Rochon kindly sent me a photo of its new home in the front hall of the president's residence as of July 25, 20ll.

My wife and I were sad to find, upon moving into Fountain Place, that there were no physical memories of past presidents in the home. We would have hoped for one of Dorothy's paintings, for example, to hang in the first floor entry area. Such a great tradition in that home -- and it needs to be honored!
In any event, we have started a notebook -- both physical and virtual -- with Fountain Place memories. We will gladly put your piece in there. I especially treasure the picture of Dorothy sitting in the library -=- I had not seen previously how she had it furnished.
It you are ever in Ithaca, please come by for a visit.
Best wishes,
Tom
